Anika Noni Rose is an American actress and performer. Her most well-known role is the role of Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent in The Princess and the Frog. Disney Legends featured the actress as one of their 2011 stars. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robertson in Dreamgirls and was awarded an Academy Award. Anika Noni Rose (born on the 6th of September 1973) is an American actress and a singing. Her performance in the theater are well-known as well, especially her roles in the role of Emmie Thbodeaux from the Broadway show Caroline or Change (2004) that earned her the Tony Award Best Featured actress in an Musical. She was also nominated in her nomination for Tony Award Best Featured actor in the play Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun.
