Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is widely believed that she was the one who beginning the current research into the study of witness memory as well as child victimes as witness in lawful contexts. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with many research publications as well as numerous grants, is also the recipient of numerous international and national prizes. She has worked with various government agencies and governments across the globe on policy as well as research on children as victims within the legal system. She acts as an expert consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She's a member of a variety of professional organizations which include the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman belongs to Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding member and International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the president of American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child Policy and Practice.
